How to stay motivated with print on demand as a beginner

Recently I had a conversation with a new student of mine about their progress with their store, and how they could stay motivated...

Below is a clip from a live stream I did in the POD Ninjas Facebook group, describing some of my journey with print on demand, and how I stay motivated each day to achieve my goals!

For me, motivation to succeed comes down to one thing: YOUR WHY!

Your "why" simply means what's driving you to succeed?

What do you hope to gain by having a successful online business?

What do you want to happen if you're able to create a profitable print on demand store?

If you don't have a "why" and print on demand is just a hobby for you, unfortunately the odds that you will stay motivated to continue working on your store after experiencing failure - are slim...

If you're doing this as a hobby, or as a way to creatively express yourself - in my opinion you're doomed to fail.

I started print on demand after my wife and I found out she was pregnant with our first daughter.

Our plan was to have her leave her job and become a stay at home mom.

I wanted to create a print on demand store so that we could have some extra income.

My "WHY" was that I wanted to be able to create an income source large enough so that we could afford to have her home with my daughter.

After launching my first store, it failed. And I launched another. And another, and another...

In my first 6 months of trying print on demand I lost thousands on Facebook ads, launched half a dozen stores and tried dozens of products...

But I didn't give up..

Because I had something to motivate me!

If you don't have that, you will surely give up - my advice to you if you're struggling for motivation is to figure out why you're doing this, and use it as fuel to keep you going when times get difficult or you experience some amount of failure!
